Kizz Daniel set to perform at the 2022 World Cup
Kizz Daniel who previously announced his ambition to play in the FIFA World Cup, which is set to begin on November 20th, 2022, has provided an update on whether he would be playing at the world’s largest football event.
The Buga singer, who recently dropped the track “Odo (Cough),” turned to Twitter on October 16 to make reference to a tweet he sent in June 2022, in which he expressed his desire to perform his hit song “Buga” at the world’s biggest football tournament.
He had tweeted:
“God I want to perform BUGA for World Cup with a mass choir help me say amen #qatar2022worldcup”
Kizz Daniel shared an update on Sunday, October 16, via his social media accounts, confirming that he would be travelling to Qatar to perform at the world cup.
He wrote;
“AND THE LORD SAID, “SEE YOU IN QATAR” : #BUGA# #COUGH”.
The musician, who recently released the tune ‘Odo (Cough),’ which is presently ruling the airways, could not hide his excitement at the news.
However, it is unclear if the “Buga” singer would perform at the opening ceremony or at a fan-only gathering.
