Jesse Jagz reveals plans to bring home a Grammy to Jos
Jesse Abaga, popularly known as Jesse Jagz, claims he is aiming to join the select group of Nigerian musicians who have received a Grammy Award.
He declared that he would be the first to bring the renowned international prize to Jos, Plateau state.
The rapper is from Taraba, although he and his brother M.I Abaga and their friend Ice Prince were all raised in Jos.
In an interview with YouTuber Steve Bussa, the African Bad Gyal singer was questioned about his aspirations as an artist and the next honour he wanted to win.
Jesse Jagz claimed he is aiming for the Grammys to demonstrate to people that it is feasible to take home the top prize in the music industry.
”The Grammy is mine, I own it. I’m going to bring it to Jos. I will show them that it’s possible”, he said.

In another news, Jesse Jagz, has stated who will be the target audience for his forthcoming album.
The former member of Chocolate City claimed that his forthcoming record, titled “Family Tree,” is intended for future generations.
On Wednesday, Jesse Jagz tweeted this, adding that he is taking his time to work on it because he creates music for the future.
”My next album is for the generation unborn !! I make music for the future, that’s why it takes alot of time but be patient. It’s worth the wait!!” he wrote.
Family Tree follows Jesse’s last project ‘Garba EP’ which he released in 2020 and it is going to be his 6th studio album.
