Beyonce records more than 30 new certifications in the US on the same day
Iconic American singer, songwriter, and performer, Beyonce Giselle Knowles, better known by her stage as Beyoncé, has achieved a significant professional milestone after several of her songs achieved gold or platinum certifications in the US.
The Queen of Pop, whose 7th studio album, ‘Renaissance’, which featured Nigerian songstress Tems, is already garnering massive numbers and topping charts, has racked up an enormous number of gold and platinum certified songs added to her already insane catalogue.
On Monday, August 8th, 2022, Queen Bey produced over thirty (30) songs that were certified gold or platinum in the US, an incredible feat that may not have been accomplished by any other artist in the modern era.
The songs that achieved his new feat cut across several albums the 40-year-old songstress has released, which included all songs on her 14-track self-titled album ‘Beyoncé’.
The songs that recently went gold or platinum include Party, Freakum Dress, Pretty Hurts, All Night, Ego, Baby Boy, Me, Myself, And I, Superpower (Feat. Frank Ocean), 7/11, 6 Inch (Feat. The Weeknd), Rocket, Ave Maria, Blue (Feat. Blue Ivy), Brown Skin Girl, Already, Beautiful Liar, No Angel, and a slew of other hits.

In an interview with media personality Wunmi Bello, Yemi Alade discussed the circumstances that nearly prevented her from working with Beyonce on her Disney project.
Addressing her Beyonce appearance on My Power from the Disney album, The Lion King: The Gift, Yemi Alade revealed that she woke up the next day to discover she’d lost her voice the day before recording her verse.
According to the singer, she eventually started to regain her voice on the second day and could however only speak and not do any singing, but she’d been able to make things work still and successfully locked in her verse.
