Talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as CKay, has set a new career record and achieved another new milestone on Spotify with his “Ckay The First” EP.
The singer has achieved another career milestone with his hit EP, and his international success is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
The emo-afrobeats singer, who recently became the second most-streamed Afrobeats act after accumulating more than 1.2 billion streams across the board on his “Love Nwantiti” is not slowing down as he continues to reach new heights.
With his global breakthrough songs “Love Nwantiti “Ah Ah Ah” and “Emiliana” gaining several certifications around the world and being the first African artist to achieve 30 million monthly Spotify listeners, the Warner Records signee seemed to have accomplished a lot in the past year.

As previously reported by Mp3bullet.ng, the global emo-afrobeat phenomenon, whose mega-hit “Love Nwantiti,” just achieved double platinum in the United States and has already gone platinum in France, continues to flourish in the international music industry.
The singer also revealed that his single “Emiliana” has been certified Platinum in France, indicating that it has received 18 million Spotify streams and is now the second most-streamed Afrobeats song in France, trailing only Love Nwantiti (31.5 Million streams).
With all these achievements, the musician has set another record with his debut project titled “Ckay The First” surpasses 540 MILLION streams on Spotify and it is the highest streamed EP of all time by an African act on Spotify.
