Patoranking is arguably the pioneer of the modern reggae-dancehall in Nigeria.

Nigerian reggae-dancehall musician Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, was born on May 27, 1990.

Reggae-dancehall in Nigeria is nothing to write home about now unlike the time of Majek Mashek and the likes, Timaya slightly threaded the path but carved out a niched from it, but Patoranking has been able to fuse afro to reggae to create something smooth which I refer as modern reggae-dancehall in Nigeria.

Patoranking is an Ebonyi State native who was born and reared in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town.

He began his musical career by working informally with musicians including XProject, Konga, Slam, and Reggie Rockstone.

In 2010, he inked a record deal with K-Igberaga Solo’s Records, whose imprint he used to release “Up in D Club.” Following their collaboration on Timaya’s song “Alubarika,” Patoranking was accepted as a protégé by Dem Mama Records.

He obtained a record deal with Foston Musik in February 2014 and dropped the tune “Girlie O,” which propelled him to fame.

Patoranking revealed on Instagram on February 9 that he has struck a distribution agreement with VP Records.

This is how Patoranking has been providing us with hit songs that are played back-to-back quietly.

One of the best dancehall performers in Nigeria is Patoranking, and here is how he has been providing us with great songs one after the other.

Patoranking has established himself as a renowned artist throughout the years; last year was particularly noteworthy for the hype it generated for the tune.

Let’s examine Patoranking’s most recent effort before his single Abule, which he released on September 28.

He claimed that the album reflected Love, Joy, and Life, which are the three fundamental aspects of living.
