Amaarae shades rappers who are joining TikTok to promote their songs.
Ghanaian female singer Ama Serwah Genfi, known professionally as Amaarae, has thrown shades at rappers who are joining the popular social media platform, TikTok, to promote their music.
She claims that despite everything indicating otherwise, these rappers are being forced into performing on the platform simply for the sake of the viewership figures.
She made this known in a recent post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
She Wrote:

In other news, Amaarae has slammed another Ghanaian artist, known as Moliy, for claiming credit for their breakthrough hit song titled “Sad Girl Luv Money.”
Moliy, who was a featured artist on the song, took to her Twitter page on March 6th, 2022 to claim that she contributed, wrote, and performed 80% of the original song.
She went on to claim that she was removed from the remix as the song “grew more popular”. In her lengthy tweet, Moliy went on to say she is yet to receive any revenue from the song.
