Chike reveals the tracklist for his upcoming album “The Brother’s Keeper”

The singer discloses the release date for his upcoming project.
Nigerian singer, and songwriter Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known by his stage name Chike has unveiled the tracklist for his highly anticipated sophomore album, “The Brother’s Keeper.”
The singer is in pursuit of a second glory, after the vast acclaim he earned with his omnivorous debut album, “Boo of The Booless.”
Chike is known for his soulful vocals, cinematic songwriting, and amazing storytelling through music which he showed on songs from his Boo of the Booless era, which birthed hits – Roju, Nakupena, Out of Love, If You No Love, Amen, Beautiful People and Running (To You).
Chike is set to blow the airwave with his highly awaited sophomore project which is set to be released on the 25th of August, 2022.
The album’s opening track, “Hard to Find,” which features African music icon Flavour, recently debuted and amassed one million views on YouTube in only a week.

Chike revealed the album’s tracklist on social media, which totals 16 songs and includes appearances from Flavour, South African diva Azana, and rap star YCee.
For the production, Chike is armed with the previous collaborator, DeeYasso, alongside Tee-Y Mix, Killertunes, Lord Sky, Echo the Guru, Louddaaa, Masterkraft, and Saszy Afroshii.
Following his chart-topping debut album, Boo of the Booless, which received acclaim across the African continent and was hailed as an instant classic and earned multiple awards wins and nominations, including a nomination for the Headies’ Album of the Year, “The Brother’s Keeper” will serve as Chike’s second studio album.
Chike had earlier announced that he was working on an album in August 2021. According to him, the album’s title was inspired by the drastic change in his life over the past years. He has gone from chasing a dream to becoming a successful and well-known artist.
He wrote via his social media page:
“We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers,”
Pre-orders for The Brother’s Keeper, which will be released on August 25th, are now being taken.
