Nigerian Award-winning record producer Chopstix has revealed the process of creating Burna Boy’s global success and song of the summer, Last Last, which features a sample of Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough.
The producer has let us in on the magic behind Burna Boy’s Last Last which samples Toni Braxton’s He Wasn’t Man Enough.
Chopstix is famous for his work on Ice Prince’s smash hit, Aboki and sits on a discography of stellar records.
According to Chopstix, he had also nursed the idea of sampling the Toni Braxton song and was excited when African Giant approached him with the same vision.

Before delving into the creation of the instrumentals, Chopstix acknowledged his talent for sampling, which gave rise to his producer name.
The producer also gave a shout-out to Rodney Jerkins also known as Dark Child, who made the beats to Braxton’s song back in 2000.
Currently, Burna Boy’s Last Last has become a cross-generational and cross-continental hit with credit to the sample of Toni Braxton’s record by Chopstix.
