Rema admits he Feels Guilty When Security Harass Fans.
Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, admitted that he feels bad every time he witnesses security intimidating fans because he has been in their position.
In an interview, he stated that he was grateful for the love he has received from his fans, especially his female fans.
He recounted the most craziest moment he had experienced with some of his female fans.
According to him, some female fans came to his hotel door at 3 am and because he didn’t have a peephole on his door, he couldn’t see who it was.
He said that he assumed that it was a friend or an associate who was at the door. When asked how he felt about it, the “Calm Down” crooner said he was pissed and had to call his manager.
The interviewer asked if it was possible for him to go on the road on his own in Nigeria to which Rema answered in the negative.
According to him, a celebrity will need to have money on hand because of fans who will beg for it.
In the interview, he also expressed his dislike for security officers intimidating spectators and how it makes him feel.
He said,
“I actually like feel guilty when security is like this is the way, that is the way, then hit a fan. I actually feel guilty because you know what? I was once a fan”.

He stated that when he wasn’t popular, he does feel harassed whenever he is pushed away by security when trying to reach out to a celebrity.
Rema revealed that he once took a photo with Patoranking when he wasn’t famous and that he was grateful for that moment.
He added that two weeks before the interview he was on a flight with Patoranking then he reminded the musician of the moment.
