AKA begs Elon Musk to assist South Africa in addressing their electrical problem.
South African Rapper, AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, has urged Tesla founder Elon Musk to act quickly to address the electricity crisis that South Africa is now experiencing.
The country has been experiencing load-shedding for some time, but it became too much to bear for the artiste when the power company implemented stage 6 load-shedding from 4 pm until 10 pm on Tuesday, June 28.
AKA then appealed to Musk, a fellow South African, on Tuesday night via his Twitter account to aid his home country by offering any ideas he might have for the energy situation.

AKA wrote;
“Excuse me sir @elonmusk. I cannot for the life of me understand why the government hasn’t approached you to come help us out with this electricity crisis, but is there any chance you could perhaps do us a solid, you know, with you being born here and all.”
In a separate tweet, the rap star wrote; “Please @elonmusk. I know you have a solution for load-shedding. Do it for your country, your original one.”
Excuse me sir … @elonmusk … I cannot for the life of me understand why the government hasn’t approached you to come help us out with this electricity crisis, but is there any chance you could perhaps do us a solid, you know, with you being born here and all.
