Davido erects Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove on stage for his New York concert
When Davido stated he would bring Africa to America, he wasn’t capping as he has constructed the Osun Osogbo sacred grove as part of his stage aesthetics.
In an interview with Trevor Noah, the FEM singer made it clear that he will only use African businesses on his tour.
He claims it is his means of assisting hard-working Nigerians from Africa in both growing and publicizing their businesses to Westerners.
When Davido and his team arrived in New York City with the prop, many people started to believe him after initially dismissing him as a capper.

Davido and his colleagues recreated the Sacred Grove of Osogbo, Osun State. He posted a video of the prop when his team was preparing the musical instruments for the inaugural WRBLO show.
The Osun-Osogbo Grove (which is located along the banks of Osun river) is several centuries old and is among the last of the sacred forests that once adjoined the edges of most Yoruba cities before extensive urbanization.

The singer during an interview on “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah revealed the main aim of his America tour, “We Rise by Lifting Others.”
Davido said his latest song, “Stand Strong” is to challenge himself, seeing he wants to do things differently.
In terms of his America Tour’s goal, Davido stated that he would be showcasing Africa in its entirety.
More importantly, to carry everyone (particularly Africans) along with while at it.
