    P-Square ft T.I. – Ejeajo (2014)

    Since their debut in 2003, P-Square (made up of twins Peter and Paul) has been the most successful group in Nigeria.

    They’ve released a number of popular albums, and their fame has expanded throughout Africa and Europe.

    They have a cult following on YouTube, with recordings of celebs like Robin Van Persie, Rihanna, the French Olympic squad, and others appreciating their music.

    P-Square has collaborated with foreign artists on numerous occasions, resulting in a large number of tunes on this list.

    They featured American rapper T.I. on this song, which was highly influenced by Prince’s 1979 classic I Wanna Be Your Lover.

    The Pulse ft Busta Rhymes – Pray Sotey (2009)

    In the 2000s, Star Lager Beer held a music competition called Star Quest. Contestants were required to be able to play at least one musical instrument and were divided into bands that competed against one another.

    The Pulse won the 2009 edition of the competition and received a recording contract with Kennis Music as a prize.

    A partnership between The Pulse and American rapper Busta Rhymes was also orchestrated by Nigerian Breweries, the manufacturers of Star Lager Beer.

    Busta Rhymes was in the country for the annual Star Mega Jam concert. That cooperation resulted in this song.

    Davido ft Meek Mill – Fans Mi (2015)

    He aspired to break into the US market and become well-known worldwide. This was the first step toward realizing his dreams. He collaborated with US rap legend Snoop Dogg on this massive version of his song Mr Endowed.

    Wizkid ft Drake and Skepta – Ojuelegba remix (2014)

    Since his first hit Holla At Your Boy in 2010, Wizkid has ruled the Nigerian music landscape.

    He went on to have a streak of hits, including Don’t Dull, Tease Me, and Pakurumo, among others. In the last three decades, his music has evolved, becoming more afrobeat-influenced.

    This song was highly influenced by Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s Confusion Break Bone and Dr. Dre’s Nothing But A G Thang. The original song was released in 2014, and it can be found on Wizkid’s album Ayo.

    Skepta is a rapper and grime artist who is British-Nigerian. He engineered Wizkid’s and Drake’s collaboration, and he also appears on the track.
