Nigerian Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy is making history as his forthcoming album titled “Love Damini”, which is set to be released on July 1st, has begun to garner interesting numbers on Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
The alum which is to be released on the 1st of July, one day before his birthday, has started to garner interesting numbers on streaming platforms.
The album is currently sitting on the number 3 spot on the Apple Music album charts.
Following the release of his sixth studio album, The African Giant offered us all an outstanding preview of the 19-track album on Friday the 13th of May with the promotional single, Last Last, which is one part sensitive and haunting entry, but for the most part a bop.

Burna Boy’s “Last Last” hit a milestone on other streaming platforms, earning 677k streams on Spotify, making it the most played Nigerian music in a single day.
The song is also presently number one on Nigeria’s top 100 songs and number 71 on Apple Music’s UK top 100, while also charting in other countries.
These numbers, along with his intriguing pre-rollout call to action at his concert, One Night in Space at Madison Square Garden, when he had everyone in attendance scan a bar code to pre-order the album, have now combined to propel his unreleased record to the top of the album charts.
