Here are some valid perceptive on why Black Sherif may be the answer to the Ghanaian music industry.

Black Sherif’s distinct sound aims to create a cult following, with the ultimate objective of becoming a global icon, and here is why Black Sherif may be the answer to the Ghanaian Music industry.

His ability to merge Ghanaian Highlife with Afro Beats, Drill, Trap and other genres expands his audience and possibilities.

Sherif’s vocal range astounds first-time listeners, who gradually zone into his haunting unorthodox melodies.

    The Genesis

Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, often known as Black Sherif in the entertainment industry and simply as Blacko, is a promising young singer on the Ghanaian music scene.

He was born on the 9th of January, 2002, in Ashanti Akyem Konongo, as the sole child of Mariam Musah and Ismail Kwabena Frimpong.

His parents have subsequently relocated to Greece, he gained notoriety with his viral single “Money,” which went viral in the first quarter of 2020, garnering plaudits for his unorthodox flow and pertinent lyrics, which were both original and well received by the Ghanaian music scene and audiences.

After suffering mental health concerns and taking a vacation from his career, Blacko returned with a new track, “Destiny,” which was just as successful as his previous release, causing industry players to take notice of the 18-year-old star.

Black Sherif is a Kumasi Academy graduate pursuing his tertiary education at UPSA.

    Kwaku the traveller

The real hook, though, is the content of his writing and how relevant and relatable it is to present times and listeners.

Kwaku The Traveller, a new song created by Joker Nharnah, is a great Trap record.

As he relates the struggles of a dedicated young man striving to make ends meet, Blacko went hard.
