Don’t disrespect me, Samklef warns Wizkid’s fans.
Recording producer, Samklef has slammed Wizkid FC for disrespecting him and not acknowledging his role in Wizkid’s career. Samklef fired at the fan base, via a series of tweets on Saturday.
Samklef said Wizkid’s success was founded on the “foundation” he created for the singer before his climb to worldwide popularity, posting a photo of Wizkid’s debut album, Superstar (about which he participated as a producer).
“Dear Wizkid FC, insulting me is like insulting Wizkid o! Na on top my foundation he use stand. So think before you do. Do your research,” he wrote.

“My work is one of the best albums out of Nigeria. The birth of your favourite. Don’t disrespect me. You won’t like it. Make a U-turn FC. I gave your favourite his first-ever 1 million naira show. Don’t disrespect me, Wizkid FC.”
As a matter of fact, Samklef’s Twitter rant follows his prior complaint about purportedly underpaid royalties on Wizkid’s smash song Pakurumo, which he released in 2011.
