In a short video, Nigerian afrobeat artist Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has revealed the Nigerian artists that inspired his music.
Rema, who has previously been accused of sounding like Big Wiz, has finally admitted that he was inspired by his senior colleague Wizkid.
The singer was asked which artists had influenced his music in a quick TikTok interview, and he listed Afrobeat pioneer Fela eand award-winning artist, Wizkid.
He also added Burna Boy and his label’s boss, Don Jazzy.

Rave & Roses has 79.96 million more streams than “Made In Lagos.”
