Linda Ikeji
Wizkid’s rivalry with Linda Ikeji was one of the most widely covered stories in 2016.
It all began when blogger Linda Ikeji reported on Wizkid receiving an eviction notice from his landlord due to unpaid rents. Linda went on to claim that the property in question was, in fact, a rented flat.
Wizkid who didn’t take it likely took to his Twitter page where he called Linda Ikeji some unprintable names.
Wizzy, as he is affectionately known, turned to social media to drag Linda, threatening to send his 16-year-old cousin to beat her up, a threat Linda did not take lightly, and she reported the case to the police right away.
The situation became so complicated that the case had to be settled in the Lagos state commissioner of police’s office. Despite Linda Ikeji’s refusal to pose for a “Kiss and makeup” photo with Wizkid at the commissioner’s office, both sides agreed to stop the feud and move on.
Linda resorted to social media again not long after the issue was finally settled to clarify her reasons for reporting Wizkid to the police in a lengthy article on her blog.
Wizkid, on his part, apologised to Linda in writing and in person for his abusive comments on social media. The feud was eventually settled, and both celebrities returned to their regular lives.
Samklef
In 2015, Wizkid and his former collaborator Samklef went to war which saw Samklef saying he is part of Wizkid’s success story whether the singer likes it or not.
Samklef claimed in an interview with Saturday Beats that no matter how much Wizkid tries to deny it, he would always be a part of his past, after previously lashing out at the singer for not recognising him and his involvement in his music career.
Samklef while speaking during the interview said: “I am part of Wizkid’s history whether he likes it or not and he cannot write his story without mentioning my name. I have always respected Wizkid’s hustle from day one. He has a strong will. So far so good, we have settled the misunderstanding between us in 2015 after one of my trips from America.
“We are all busy now, so I am no longer worried about whatever people say because at the end of the day, we all have our journey in life and success is the most important thing. I am no longer bitter at Wizkid, the past is gone.”
Samklef eventually went to settle it out with Wizzy.
Wizzy didn’t post about the make up on his page but Samklef ensured we knew he and Wizzy are cool now
Dammy Krane
Things were going well between these two until Dammy Krane took to Instagram to accuse Wizkid of stealing and utilising his ‘gbetiti’ language in the remake of Kizz Daniel’s “Good time.”
Dammy Krane boasted about how he was going to beat up Wizkid because he ruled the streets.
Wizkid did not respond to the online message; instead, he waited till he spotted Krane at Quilox nightclub, where he smashed his jaw with a glass cup.
However, the rivalry between these two men was quickly addressed by Shina Peller, the Quilox CEO, and Nigerian footballer Obafemi Martins, who stepped in and handled the matter.

Davido
This beef was by far the most prolonged.
For years, these two have been engaged in beef. From people making comparisons to each of them firing bullets on social media, they’ve had it all.
Their feud came to a halt in 2018 when they performed side by side at each other’s concerts.
Then it seemed there was a cold war again but mostly, their fans were the ones fighting amongst themselves. In 2021, the two seemed to have resolved their issues after they were seen in a video hugging themselves passionately.
