The Afropop singer made Big Wiz’s wish come to reality after she collaborated with him on a unique track entitled, ‘IDG’ (I Don’t Go).
On why Asa chose to collaborate with Wizkid, she said there was a friendship between her and the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer.
She said:
“With Wizkid, there’s a friendship. Before the music, we sit down, we have a drink and just talk about all kinds of things— animals and normal things about his life,”
“I thought it (the song) would be great with Wizkid because it fits his temperament, so I sent it to him and he loved it. It was natural.
“Before we do a song, I want it to be honest. We should have a connection with all these collaborators (on the album), that was what we did.”
In addition, The 10-track V album also features highlife duo, The Cavemen on ‘Good Times’ and ‘All I Ever Wanted’ featuring Ghanaian star, Amaarae.
