Despite the fact that the musician has been chastised for his privileged background, he has never let it stop him from doing good things and assisting those in need.
Certain artists in the Industry are currently enjoying their current success because the singer opted to believe in them while others dismissed them.
Davido’s assistance extends beyond the music industry. He has used his music as a vehicle to affect societal change on multiple occasions.
It’s also common knowledge that the singer frequently lends a helping hand to his fans, assisting some of them in achieving their goals.
The “Fem” crooner is recently trending as a result of his 250 Million donation to orphanages across the states.

Donating N15m to a staff of MMI Airport
Davido made news across the media in 2018 after posting a video on his Instagram account capturing the moment some airport employees carried banners to thank him for his assistance.
The appreciation comes as a result of an airport employee who was terminally ill and David saved her life by giving a sum of 15 million Naira to cover her medical expenses.
Sponsoring a young kid named Utibe in school and building a house for his family
Prior to meeting Davido, p was just a small child struggling to make ends meet due to his parents’ poor financial situation. The young youngster then went popular in 2017 after covering Davido’s smash song “fall.”
After witnessing the video, Davido teamed up with Sham Rock, a humanitarian group, to enrol the child in school and assist his family in building a home.

Helped a fan pay off his tuition fees
Davido, who is known for his generosity, was approached by a fan who needed financial assistance to pay his school tuition, and he came through for him.
Jide Sanyaolu was a University of Liverpool student who decided to try his luck when he realised he wouldn’t be able to pay his school fees any other way, and God provided him with Davido.
Jide graduated in 2021. He did not only graduate, Jide made a first-class. On March 8, Jide tagged Davido on Twitter and reminded him of the good thing he did.
Donated proceeds from his D&G video to the COVID-19 research fund
In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, Davido released the video of his single “Dolce & Gabbana,” which featured American actress Summer Walker.
Davido has revealed that all earnings from the project, both streaming and distribution gains, will be donated to a COVID-19 research fund in order to speed up the process of developing a vaccine for the virus, much to the surprise of many.

Donated to the Rwanda Music School
During his ‘30 billion‘ tour in 2018, the musician paid a visit to the Rwanda Music School, where he pledged $5000 to the school’s leadership.
Not only did Davido pledge to donate $5000, but he also gave all pupils free tickets to his concert later that day during a visit to a music school in Rwanda.
On Social media, the musician posted a video of himself during his stay. Davido also gave a live performance for the students.
