Waje shares her thought on what Feminism truly represent.
Waje Orubebe, the ace vocal queen and songstress, in a post that sparked a further conversation on Instagram, took the time to educate those who are ignorant and miseducated about what true feminism is all about.
Feminism, according to the singer, is about respecting different girls’ experiences, identities, information, and strengths, as well as working to empower all girls to understand their full rights.
She characterised it as levelling the playing field for both genders and ensuring that many girls and women have the same opportunities in life as men and boys.
Waje further noted that many feminists are married to amazing men.

Her statement comes this was in reaction to the lady who made a video talking about how a friend who introduced her to feminism got married just some days ago and she was left stranded with no one to celebrate even Valentine with.
When some fans tried to argue with her perspective, the singer didn’t hesitate to school them and correct misconceptions about the topic.
