The American rapper discloses this on his social media page.
American rapper and record producer Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has announced to his fans that he will be dropping a new album soon which will be the follow-up to his tenth studio album, “Donda.”
He shared this via his Instagram page on Thursday 28th of January 2022.
The rapper announced that the album will be titled “Donda 2” and set to be released on February 22, 2022, which date is appropriate for the first sequel album he’s made in his career.
Recall, Ye had begun working on “Donda 2” earlier this month, just a few months after the original “Donda” was released on Aug. 29, 2021, after multiple delays.
Earlier this week, Steven Victor, a Universal Music executive and longtime associate of West’s said the album is coming “sooner than you think.

However, fans of the prolific rapper know that Ye has a long relationship with album delays and projects that are announced but never fully realized, so whether or not “Donda 2” actually releases on time will likely only be revealed on the morning of Feb. 22.
He made the announcement alongside a picture of his childhood house in Chicago on fire, as well as the revelation that Future will executive-produce “Donda 2.”
Kanye West famously created a duplicate of his home in the centre of Soldier Field in Chicago for one of his “Donda” record listening sessions last year.
