The likes of Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and others are a few Nigerian artists on the 2022 NAACP Image Award Nomination List.
For the first time ever, Tems earned a nomination for “Outstanding New Artist” for her 2021 album “If Orange Was a Place.” Wizkid, Fireboy DML, Tiwa Savage, and Omah Lay were all nominated for “Outstanding International Song.”
NAACP Image Award nominations were released on Tuesday, and this year’s gala will include a wide variety of them. For the 53rd time, the NAACP Awards will be hosted by Anthony Anderson and telecast live on February 26.
