Adekunle Gold’s “Catch Me If You Can” album would be dropping in February
Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has revealed the release date for his fourth studio album, ‘Catch Me If You Can.’
Adekunle Gold confirmed the release date for his fourth studio album, Catch Me If You Can, on January 14, 2022.
The “High” singer revealed this in an Instagram post on Saturday, along with a video announcing the album’s release date and title.
The album will be released on February 4, 2022, as a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Afro Pop Vol. 1 from 2020.
The singer said that the ‘Catch Me If You Can‘ pre-order link is already up, and that the album will be released in February.
“Catch Me If You Can / Feb 4, 2022. Pre-order link in my bio. Thank you,” the father-of-one wrote.
In 2016, Adekunle Gold released his debut album ‘Gold’ after his breakthrough song, ‘Sade’, a highlife cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life.’

Two years after the first studio album, he followed up with ‘About 30’, which premiered in 2018. In 2020, he dropped ‘Afro Pop (Vol.1)’ to delight his fans.
The singer has also revealed to his fans that he would be dropping a new single.
He made the revelation via his Twitter handle on Saturday night stating that the single precedes his forthcoming album.
The new single is titled ‘Mercy’, and would be dropping in January.
“_New Single ‘Mercy’-Out, January 21. New Album, ‘Catch Me if you can’-Out, February 4. Save the Dates,_” he wrote.
