Nigerian Music Executive and Producer, Don Jazzy have reacted to Simi giving Upcoming artists advice on how to market themselves on social media.
Simi recently took to Instagram to share a piece of advice for upcoming artists and Don Jazzy who came across agrees with it.
Simi who had asked netizens to introduce her to fresh and new artists to listen to was disappointed when she visited some of these Upcoming artists’ Instagram pages.
Expressing her disappointment with the whole issue, she told artists that their social media should be where they are marketing their music and talents, not for only posting aesthetics and mysterious pictures.
According to her, it’s not a great look because if they want to grow and gain popularity in the industry, they should always be selling themselves.

Don Jazzy taking to Instagram posted a screenshot of the Duduke crooner’s post and in the caption agreed with her.
According to the Mavin Label boss, fake deep mysterious aesthetic is tampering with their chances to gain visibility in the Industry.
He wrote;
I tell y’all this all time. Hear it from your fellow artists too. All that fake deep mysterious aesthetic is tampering with your ops. Besides if you show the algorithm that you want to be dark, mysterious and left alone, it will make sure you are in the darkest part of the gram where no one will see you. How then will you get discovered?
