For some Nigerian Artists, 2021 was a momentous year as they welcomed their newborns and a few became parents for the first time.
Many musicians in the Nigerian music industry have already had one or two children, while others are yet to have their first child.

Banky W
Well-known Nigerian singer, Banky W, and his actress wife, Adesua Etomi, welcomed their first child, Zaiah, in February.
The couple, who married in 2017, named their child Hazaiah Olusegun Wellington, who is also known as Zaiah.
After the birth of their baby, Banky and Adesua posted a video on YouTube outlining how she suffered two miscarriages over the four years of waiting and the difficulties she faced.
Kizz Daniel
On his birthday, May 1, Nigerian artist Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, announced the birth of his twin sons.
The Woju crooner named his twin boys Jelani and Jalil. In another announcement, he stated that his children were born as triplets, with one dying four days after delivery.
He did not, however, reveal the mother of his children.
Harrysong
Harrysong and his wife, Alexer Perez Gopa, welcomed a new baby girl in Malta. Earlier in the year, the singer wedded his wife in a magnificent wedding after years of dating.
He released a song with Fireboy DML and Olamide to celebrate the latest addition to his family.
Ladipoe
Ladipo Eso also known as Ladipoe the Mavin record rapper, became a parent this year after welcoming his first kid with an undisclosed lover.
The rapper hailed his new kid as his second number one this year when sharing the happy news online, and his fellow cel\brities congratulated him.

Mo’ Cheddah
Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola, known by her stage name Mo’ Cheddah welcomed a baby girl in December 2021.
In May 2018, she married her long-time boyfriend, Prince Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi in a private ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.
The couple welcomed their first child who Mo’ Cheddah refers to as Baby T this year.
