Wizkid is on the verge of making history as he may win a Grammy award with his own original work prior to Burna Boy and Sikiru Adepoju.
The 64th GRAMMY Awards show, which will take place in 2022, is barely around the way. The nominations for each of the 86 categories were released by the Recording Academy and here is Everything you need to know about Wizkid’s 64th Grammy category
Wizkid joins the artists who received nominations for their original work with his double Grammy nominations following his featured on Beyoncé’s project The Lion King: The Gift on the single “Brown Skin Girl”, which also reached number-one on the World Digital Song Sales chart, and won him a Grammy Award for Best Music Video.
The Recording Academy will present the 2022 GRAMMY Awards show on Mon, Jan. 31, on the CBS Television Network(opens in a new tab) and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ from 8–11:30 p.m. ET / 5–8:30 p.m. PT.

Prior to the telecast, the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel(opens in a new tab).
