Davido is in the news after a show he headlined in Ghana only drew a few people, showing that Ghanaians have started boycotting shows hosted by Nigerian artists.
Following an argument between Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale and some Nigerian celebrities, Ghanaians have pledged to boycott Nigerian artists’ concerts in Ghana.
This comes after Shatta Wale went on a social media rant in which he attacked performers and blasted Nigerians for what he called ingratitude for not appreciating how Ghana has aided the Nigerian music business.

Ghanaians appear to be keeping their word, as a recent concert by Davido drew only a few hundred people.
Some Shatta Wale followers resorted to social media to express their delight in the show’s attendance.
