The 22nd of December 2021 will definitely be a memorable day for Buju, who had a fantastic headline concert titled Sorry I’m Late in Lagos, Nigeria.
Talented Afro-fusion star Daniel Benson better known as Buju delivered an amazing performance at his Sorry I’m Late concert in Lagos, performing a superb rendition of both his popular songs and collaborations.
The performance drew a large crowd of fans and industry heavyweights who all came out to express their support for him.
The show began with ribs cracking jokes from some of Nigeria’s top comedians, including Kenny Blaq, Pencil, and Mr Hyenana.
After that, Buju made his way to the stage, causing the audience to rise to their feet and cheer him on as he delivered back-to-back melodic tunes.

With so much energy the crowd danced and danced as the night witnessed guest performances from other artists that includes Dai Verse, Magixx, Zinoleesky, Alpha P, Victony, Omah Lay, Blaqbonez, Ladipoe, Bella Shmurda, Zlatan amongst others who entertained the crowd.
The crowd erupted in applause when Grammy-nominated musicians Wizkid and Burna Boy arrived at various intervals to support the Afro-fusion star, and the crowd was delighted to have these musical giants entertain them.
According to Daniel Cole Chiori, One of the Directors of Achievas Entertainment who were the event organizers, he said:
‘Looking back at that night, all I can say is that we created a huge record with the mammoth crowd that came through for the concert and I can only give thanks to God first, my family, the whole Achievas Entertainment Team and of course Buju’s team for a job well done’.
The event drew an audience that was unexpected for an artist of his calibre, but credit must be given to him for his dedication, consistency, and drive, which led to his having a successful year.
One of the directors of ACHIEVAS Entertainment Limited, as well as a filmmaker and entertainment consultant, named Daniel Cole Chiori also added:
This is my first solo concert to spearhead on behalf of Achievas Entertainment and I’m glad it was a success. I have always believed I could pull through on this particular project knowing that I worked with an amazing team that made it seamless for me. Special thanks to Buju for believing in me and also to Ossy Achievas, my brother for giving all the necessary support needed.
