Burna Boy and Yonda appear to be at odds after the latter responded to a remark made by Burna following his recent video interview.
Burna Boy responded to a claim made by Yonda in a new video claiming a song composed by him sparked the rupture between him and Davido,.
On Saturday, December 4th, 2021, he posted this on his Instagram stories.
Yonda was previously signed to Davido’s DMW Records and is widely recognized as one of Nigeria’s top songwriters.
He is credited with a number of songwriting credits on Davido’s tracks, and he and his old label boss maintain a good relationship.
He even made an appearance on the song Anifowoshe off Davido’s 2019 album, A Good Time.
In a trending video, Yonda was quoted as saying that he wrote a song that was meant for Burna Boy but Davido took it and that was the genesis of their fallout.
Revealing more information about the situation, he shared that before he was signed to Davido’s Label, the DMW Label Boss and Burna wanted to sign him at the same time.

However, he chose Davido’s group, but it didn’t stop Burna from interacting with him and wanting to collaborate with him.
In response to the allegation, Burna commented under the post saying, “Must be crack”
Yonda in a response posted a screenshot of the comment and tagged Burna, telling him that he was the one on crack.
He wrote;
”Yo @burnaboygram must be on crack”
