In a first for the region, here are the 2021 Wrapped results, defining how Nigerians sought to stay entertained, informed, and connected with their favorite local and global music artists, and here are the top 10 most-streamed artists in Nigeria on Spotify.
Nigerians dominate the list, with Wizkid coming in as the most-streamed artist in Nigeria. He is followed by Burna Boy, then Davido is third.

Wizkid
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known professionally as Wizkid, Wizzy, Big Wiz, Machala, or Starboy, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
The recipient of several international music nominations and awards, He signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records in March 2017.
In 2019, he was featured on Beyoncé’s project The Lion King: The Gift on the collaboration “Brown Skin Girl”, which won him a Grammy Award for Best Music Video.
His fourth album, Made in Lagos, was released in October 2020, to wide commercial success and acclaim.
The album includes the single “Essence”, which became the first Nigerian song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
Burna Boy
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known professionally as Burna Boy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer. He is one of the biggest and most successful African artists.
He rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013).
In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Music Group internationally.
His third studio album Outside marked his major-label debut, in 2021, he won the award for Best World Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
Davido
David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer.
Davido rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo (2012).
In 2012, Davido won the Next Rated award at The Headies. Between 2013 and 2015, he also released a number of hit singles and in January 2016 he signed a record deal with Sony Music.

Buju
Buju originally named Daniel Benson is a fast-rising 21-year-old Nigerian Afro-Fusion singer and who draws inspiration to create music ranging from his personal experiences, his environment, or the experiences of his friends.o9
His ability to tell stories effortlessly in his music whilst including vivid melodies and harmony is something that has made his music a ‘must-listen as it’s unexplainably enjoyable
Justin Bieber

He is signed to YBNL Nation, a record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide.
His debut studio album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps was released in 2019.
He won Listener’s Choice and was nominated for Song of the Year for “Jealous” at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival
Rema
Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper.
He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
In 2019, he signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records.
Tems
Temilade Openiyi better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer.
In 2021, she earned two US top 40 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, with her collaboration with Drake on the song “Fountains” from his album Certified Lover Boy, and the Wizkid single “Essence”;
The latter of which reached the top ten following a remix by Justin Bieber, and earned her a Grammy Award nomination.
