Zlatan ft Davido- Money
In the month of November, Zlatan released his sophomore album, “Resan.” The project was a unique blend of street hop and Afrobeat. One of the album’s best songs is the Davido-assisted “Money“.
“Money” would be the second song the two are collaborating on this year following the release of “Cho Cho” which also featured Mayorkun in the first half of the year.
Mayorkun ft Victony- Holy Father
Mayorkun dropped his sophomore album, ‘Back in Office” this year and one of the songs disturbing the charts is ‘Holy Father” which features the rising act, Victony.
Victony’s vocals opening the song is one of the best decisions Mayorkun took for the song as it gave Victony the opportunity to showcase why is an artist to watch out for.
Fave- Baby Riddim
Fave is an upcoming female singer who has built a sizable fanbase for herself on social media. This year she gained attention with the groovy “Baby Riddim“.
The sweet part of this song is the chorus which would have anyone singing along.
Banky W- Jo
Banky W has been away from the industry for a while, focusing on his family, acting career and ministry.
While he released a song earlier in the year to celebrate being a father, he officially resurfaced with a mellifluous Afrobeats number titled ‘Jo‘. The record was produced by another veteran, renowned beatmaker Cobhams Asuquo.
His wife, Adesua Etomi as usual was the video vixen in the music video. Banky also revealed that song was inspired by his wife’s dance.
Peruzzi- Sweetah
In the first half of the year, Peruzzi dropped his album, “Rum and Boogie” which housed a lot of hits. In November, he dropped the Afro dancehall fused tune, “Sweetah“.
In his usual form, Peruzzi drops witty bars on a groovy beat produced by talented beatsmith, Mr Eff.
Omah Lay – Free My Mind
After topping charts in the first half of the year with “Understand“, Omah Lay returned to November with “Free My Mind.” Unlike his usual Afro-fusion tune, “Free My Mind” is more of a reggaeton/dancehall tune.
The record was produced by talented beatmaker, Blaise Beatz.
Davido ft Focalistic- Champion Sound
In the first quarter of the year, Davido has been involved in a couple of features which have all been smash hits and going well on charts.
For his birthday in November, he released his first record of the year, “Champion Sound“, an amapiano tune that features the South African act, Focalistic.
“Champion Sound” isn’t the first Davido and Focalistic would collaborate as one can recall the hit “Ke Star” the two collaborated on earlier in the year.
Kizz Daniel- Oshe
If there is anything that Kizz Daniel has proven is he capable of, is the ability to get fans when he wants to. “Oshe” is that tune that makes one both fall in love and dance.
The Afro-Highlife tune which is off his recently released EP, “Barnabas” features vocals from The Cavemen.
Victor AD- Omo Ologo
Victor AD is back with “Omo Ologo” even after dropping an EP, “Nothing to Prove” in July. The record has all the Victor AD trademark elements for a feel-good track.
“Omo Ologo” is a braggadocio tune that sees Victor sending a message of warning to his haters.
Kizz Daniel- Pour Me Water
Kizz Daniel has been a rollercoaster this year with hits like “Currently”, “Flex” and the chart-topping “Lie“. He decided to take it further by dropping an EP titled “Barnabas“. One of the songs from the amazing project is ‘Pour me Water“.
The smooth melodious jam is exceptional in both the beat and the lyrics which is from the POV of a hurt man to his estranged lover.
