Nigerian Songbird, Simi has opened up on how she combines motherhood and her music career, even giving insights into how she felt when she gave birth to her daughter.
On Thursday, Simi asked fans to ask her anything and a fan asked how she combines her music career and motherhood, to which the singer revealed she had to make strategic comprises.
Another fan asked how she felt when she saw her daughter for the first and the “Duduke” crooner shared that she was numb for 5 minutes as she couldn’t believe that a human being had come out of her body.
“First 5 minutes I was numb cos it was unbelievable that a human being just came out of my body. 5 minutes later, I was sobbing watching her in her daddy’s arms because I was so in love.”
When asked if she would like her daughter to go into music, Simi revealed that she doesn’t have a problem with it as she is happy.

According to her, being a mother and having someone to depend on her is intense. She also revealed that when she was pregnant she nicknamed her baby ‘Dancing Tiger’.
“Many. When she was in my belly, I called her the dancing tiger,” She said responding to a question about her Daughter’s nickname.
