Nigerian Superstar, Davido had his newly formed Wema account restricted as a result of the over 150 Million he generated in less than 24 hours.
Following an N100 million plea by Davido, in which he asked fans and fellow celebrities to bless him with monetary presents ahead of his birthday, the newly formed Wema bank account intended for this act has been restricted.
This comes after the artist amassed nearly N130 million in a matter of hours.
According to screenshots given by Davido, the bank account’s debit has been limited, meaning he can’t withdraw funds for the time being.

Banks typically employ the Post-No-Debit (PND) feature to check for illicit activity. It is frequently triggered when a person obtains a large sum of money in a short period of time.
Davido has been affected by this as a result of the large inflow of cash, particularly in a new account.
