Davido reacted to the news that the Lagos State Investigation panel had determined that the Lekki Toll Gate massacre had indeed occurred, revealing the full names of the victims.

On Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, he posted his reaction to his Instagram stories.

Remember that the Nigerian military was dispatched on October 20th, 2020, to kill peaceful protestors during the # ENDSARS demonstration, a nonviolent protest by Nigerian youths against police brutality, corruption, and other societal problems.

The Lagos State #EndSARS Judicial Panel on Police Brutality and Other Related Abuses submitted their report to the state government on November 15, 2021, as an update on developments.

According to the reports, which were based on cases of police brutality and the October 20 Lekki massacre inquiry, at least nine persons were proven dead at the Lekki toll plaza on October 20, 2020.
