Nigerian Singer, Simi has shared some insights about her mother, Jedidah Akinsola.
Simi who is currently dominating Tik-tok with her #NobodylikeWoman decided to join the challenge with her mother.
In the video, she posted to her Instagram page on the 17 of October, she shared some interesting details about her mother.
According to the video, Simi’s mother has four kids, went to the university at age 40, is a s*xual abuse survivor, owns a business, and has been the head usher of Daystar Church for over two decades.
Simi’s new song, “Woman” which was recorded in 2019 has been a trending topic even before its release on Friday.

The #Nobodylikewoman first started as the singer and a host of other female celebrities revealing the negative things they have heard people say about them.
When the song was released, the challenge went to become a video challenge with young women sharing interesting details about the women who have inspired them.
In another post reported by Mp3bullet.ng, Simi revealed that the song took her two to release due to her pregnancy.
She also shared that she had initially recorded the background vocals herself but later invited her friends who could hold a key to do the background vocals.
