Ace comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth, has been signed by Empire, a record company based in the United States.
Basketmouth announced his recent deal with Empire on his social media accounts.
While doing so, he asked Duktor Sett, his music producer, if he was ready to compose more music.
He wrote;
“Hey guys, did I mention that I’ve been signed by @empire? Well…I am. Time to make more beautiful music. @DuktorSett you ready?”

Basketmouth was a popular stand-up comedian who later went on to do TV series. You may recognise him from the TV shows Flatmates and Papa Benji.
He has dabbled in music, releasing his debut album, “Yabasi,” in 2020. The album was a hit, and Seun Kuti characterised it as “faultless.”
His most recent collaboration was with Buju, a raving vocalist, and Duktor Sett, a young producer.
