Nigerian Singer, Omah Lay was performing in New York last night when fans were treated to a surprise appearance by rapper Olamide.
On Thursday, September 30th, 2021, Olamide came up at Omah Lay’s gig in New York, and the two went on to perform their big hit, Infinity.
The two are best known for their collaboration on the smash single Infinity off Olamide’s 2020 Carpe Diem album.
The song, combined with Omah Lay’s double EP treat, made 2020 a memorable year for fans.
After collaborating with American RnB sensation 6lack on the remix of his breakthrough song, Damn, and a few other successful songs, Omah embarked on his first US tour titled “Purple Tour.”
Omah Lay kicked off his US tour with a performance at the Fillmore in Maryland, and on the New York leg, he was surprised by Olamide.

The Singer’s Fillmore show was sold out saw him perform a host of his hit songs with the excited audience singing along.
He’s also not the only Nigerian artist on the tour in the United States. Wizkid and Tems are now on separate tours as part of the most significant Afrobeats expansion in recent memory.
