CKay is currently trending after his song, Love Nwantiti finally charted on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Ckay, a Nigerian singer and Warner South Africa artist, recorded his debut Billboard Hot 100 single on September 27, 2021.
‘Love Nwantiti,’ his viral breakthrough tune, peaked at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Billboard Chart’s announced CKay’s Love Nwantiti making it to the no. 80 spot on this week’s Hot 100 Chart update. They wrote;
.@ckay_yo’s “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)” debuts at No. 80 on this week’s #Hot100. It’s his first career entry on the chart.

This will be CKay’s first entry on the Hot 100 chart.
It becomes the second Nigerian record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021 after Wizkid’s ‘Essence.’
This comes just one week after the song reached No. 23 on the Official UK Top 40 chart.
Recall, that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Ckay’s ‘Love Nwantiti‘ became the No. 1 song on Shazam’s global charts on September 11, 2021.
The chart keeps track of the most popular songs around the world and ranks them.
The version of ‘Love Nwantiti‘ that is now at the top of the charts features Axel and DJ Yo.
The song, which was first released on Ckay’s sophomore EP, Ckay The First, in 2019, went viral after a visual version featuring Joeboy and Kuami Eugene was released.
Ckay has remixed the song for mileage on various occasions after then. Winnie Harlow has danced to the song on her Instagram stories since then.
Since then, the artist has released another EP, left Chocolate City, and signed with South Africa’s Warner Music Group.
This follows Wizkid’s ‘Essence‘ becoming the most-Shazamed song in the United States, and Master KG’s ‘Jerusalema‘ becoming the most-Shazamed song in the globe in Q4 2020.
