Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has disclosed that she was detained in Uganda with fifty other women, including children, the last time she visited.
Tems chatted with Beat FM’s Toolz & Nadine on the MiddayShow, where she went to premiere her song CrazyTings, about her incredible year so far, during which she also spoke about her horrible ordeal in Uganda.
You may recall Mp3bullet.ng reported that she and Nigerian singing sensation Omah Lay were detained in Uganda early in the year for allegedly violating COVID-19 regulations.
In her interview, She said she was imprisoned with fifty other women, including children, during the saga.
She went on to say that she became friends with some of them and that the experience gave her a different perspective on life.

The Nigerian vocalist, who just set a new milestone by being the first African performer to appear on two songs on the highly coveted Billboard Hot 100, said she isn’t seeing anyone romantically right now, including Drake when teased by host Toolz.
She also opened up on creating history with Wizkid and even working with Canadian superstar rapper Drake.
She also discussed what it was like to see Adele sing her song to her, future collaborations, and other issues.
