Nigerian Singer, Simi is celebrating the fourth anniversary of her sophomore album, ‘Simisola“.
On the 8th of September, 2021, Simi took to her Instagram to celebrate her breakthrough sophomore album, “Simisola” clocking 4 years.
In her caption, the singer revealed that the album changed her life.
“Four Years today. Changed my life ????. Forever grateful to God,” she wrote
“Simisola” was released on September 8, 2017, under her former label, X3M Music. It is the follow-up to her debut album, Ogaju (2008).

Simi’s exploration of different sounds on the album and demonstration of her originality and range earned her good reviews from music critics.
The album housed hit singles like ‘Jamb Question’, ‘Tiff’, ‘Smile For Me’, ‘Love Don’t Care’, ‘Joromi’, ‘Aimasiko’, amongst others.
The project won album of Year at the 2018 Headies and was also nominated for Best R&B/Pop Album.
The album was followed up by her third album, “Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1” released in 2019 and her 2020 EP, “Restless II“.
Recently the songstress hinted at the fact that she would be dropping her fourth album this year.
While she is yet to disclose the title, her husband, Adekunle Gold told fans to expect ‘gbedu upon gbedu’ from her.
Afrofusion sensation, Buju also revealed that she and he have a collaboration which Mp3bullet.ng believes might be part of the forthcoming album.
