We go on a tour of Psycho YP’s new EP, Euphoria, take a look.
As a Trap & Rap artist, PsychoYP is nearly flawless, YP’s persistence in the art presents a possible solution to the topic of the genre’s mainstream viability in Nigeria, according to the discourse around the state of Trap in Nigeria.
From the United Kingdom to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, the 22-year-old rapper continues to bring people from diverse cultures together through his music.

He never ceases to boast about how he has managed to build a name for his city in this overcrowded music industry – “And I put my city on the map, and I got them on my back.”
Psycho YP‘s growth as an artist is not only amazing but absolutely remarkable.
With an ever-increasing fan base, the young rapper manages to improve his skill and sound with each effort.
In 2016, he launched his career with his debut tape, ‘Lost In The Sauce,’ which features the artist spitting bars over powerful, distinct Trap beats.
In June 2018, he released his debut mixtape, YPSZN, and a year later, he released his sophomore mixtape, YPSZN2 – the body of work that propelled him to popularity, as the rapper showcases his abilities track after track.

We were expecting a ‘YPSZN3,’ but Psycho surprised us last month when he announced the release of his new EP ‘Euphoria.’
This tape has a blend of sonics and themes, according to him; “This project is going to do a lot for the trap scene in Nigeria,” he says over a zoom call.
