Larry Gaaga isn’t a performing artist but you’ve probably heard his name on some popular songs.
Born Larry Ndianefo, Larry Gaaga has been in the music industry for a while before he started releasing hit songs.
An industry veteran, a producer, an entrepreneur. He owns a company KL Oil and Gas as well as a record label Gaaga Muzik.
He was even part of the management team of Vector’s former label, YSG entertainment.
His mainstream popularity came after his friend, 2Baba released “Gaga Shuffle” in 2017. The song was birthed during a studio session in which 2Baba and Gaaga were present.
The producer of the song, DaPiano has played the beat for them which was inspired by a dance move Larry likes to do.
Larry Gaaga even made a cameo appearance in the “Gaga Shuffle” music video.
From there, Larry Gaaga started partnering with popular artists to release songs. One could describe him to DJ Khalid, they don’t sing their songs but they are the brains or producers of the song.
With his back-to-back collabos, he has proven to be one of the country’s biggest artists.
Larry Gaaga has amassed significant collaborations with practically all of Nigeria’s greatest A-list artists throughout the years. Gaaga has worked with artists such as 2Baba, D’Banj, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Wande Coal, Charass, Base One, and Sarkodie.
When Larry Gaaga isn’t releasing hit songs, he is busy putting together soundtrack albums for Nollywood Movies.
His first Soundtrack album which was for the remake of the Nollywood classic, Living In Bondage earned him an Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award in 2020.
He has also produced Soundtrack albums for remakes of “Rattlesnake” and “Nneka the Pretty Serpent.”

“Doe” is Larry Gaaga’s first Offical song and it was released in 2018. Davido had dominated 2017 with the release of songs like “Fall,” “IF,” continuing the success into 2018 with other hits and features.
Davido’s superb delivery on “Doe” made the song a success and helped pushed Larry Gaaga into mainstream popularity.
In My Head ft Patoranking
“In My Head” is an underrated song that deserves more flowers. The emotional song is an ode to lost loved ones and succeeds in evoking emotions.
In My Head is a Heavenly sing-along and celebration of life, featuring Patoranking’s harmonious vocals on a choir-filled chorus. The song sees Patoranking sing through the raining pain of losing a loved one and being left behind with endless lifetime memories.
Tene ft Flavour
“Tene” is the most popular single from Larry Gaaga produced ‘Living in Bondage’ soundtrack album.
The Afrohighlife song is a sweet melody with Flavour delivering his trademark vocals that fans have come to love. The song won the award for the Best Soundtrack Award at the 2020 AMVCA.
Doubting Thomas ft Davido, Umu Obiligbo
Released during the festive season in 2020, “Doubting Thomas” was a club jam. The combination of South East music duo, Umu Obiligbo and Davido on the Ogene inspired beat made it hard to resist.
The music video also played a major factor in making it popular with its all-stars cameo appearances from popular Celebrities and Billionaires.

Baba Nla ft 2Baba, Burna Boy, D’banj
From the beginning, you are aware that this song is about to be a journey one would gladly embark on. Burna Boy opens the song with crazy lines on both the hook and the first verse while 2Baba follows suit on the remaining verse. D’banj gives a beautiful harmonica rendition on the chorus.
Owo Ni Koko ft Umu Obiligbo
Umu Obiligbo has become a mainstream success since their joint collaboration with Flavour. Larry Gaaga taps them for the Highlife song, “Owo Ni Koko” which loosely translates to “Money is Important.”
Slow Burner ft Joeboy
Another great 2020 release, “Slow Burner” is enticing and oozes sexual appeal thanks to Joeboy’s delivery and lines. Joeboy drops great wordplays and sexual innuendos with even dropping a line referring to Burna Boy and his hit song, Ye.
