Drake has revealed that his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, is finished, just a few weeks after confirming that it was in the mixing stage.
The album was supposed to be released last summer but was moved forward owing to a few factors. Also, ‘CLB’ was supposed to drop in January according to Drake but he could not due to his health issues.
The Six God made the announcement on SiriusXM’s OVO Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday show, which was revived in March after nearly three years off the air.
“Album’s cooked. Looking forward to delivering it to you,” Drake said during his brief appearance. “I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone’s locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend.”

And for the rest of you heathens, I wanna tell you, ’cause I know you’re listening, don’t trouble people’s kids, don’t bother people’s soul. Know what I’m sayin’?
“OVO, we aim for the head, we don’t aim to please. Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way.”
