‘A True Champion’ Album by Rexxie typically resonates club bangers hits on a tape.
Rexxie has finally released his highly awaited debut album, A True Champion, after teasing it and sharing a clip from the recording session.
Rexxie, a Grammy-winning Nigerian producer, earlier unveiled the album’s much-anticipated Davido-assisted single ‘All.
He released the track “All” with Davido just last Friday. The DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) singles “Bum Bum” and “On God” featured the two performers earlier.

Sarkodie, Naira Marley, Teni, Zlatan, Peruzzi, as well as buzzing new generation Nigerian singers like MohBad, Bad Boy Timz, Zinoleesky, Bella Shmurda, Buju, Oxlade, Lyta, T-Classic, and Cameroon’s Blanche Bailly, appear on the 17-track album.
Ms Banks, Moelogo, Kida Kudz, and Midas The Jagaban, all from the United Kingdom, appear on the album.
The pre-released “KPK” and its remix, “Back To Back,” and a remixed version of “Mofoti” will be included in the project, which will be entirely created by Rexxie.
Rexxie is most known for inventing the zanku sound in Afrobeats and combining it with amapiano elements to create “afropiano.”
“KPK” was the first taste of the sound, and it has surpassed some astounding milestones since its release in December 2020, including garnering over 50 million streams across all streaming platforms.
A remix of the big single starring Solange was released just a few weeks ago.

A True Champion is the follow-up to the producer’s Afrostreets EP from 2020.
In addition to his recent Grammy nomination for his work on Burna Boy‘s Twice As Tall.
This tape is both a presentation and a celebration of sound, Rexxie like many of the young musicians has achieved success beyond their wildest dreams, and thankfulness is a frequent topic.
