One of 2020’s breakout stars, Bad Boy Timz was interviewed by the Music Streaming platform, Audiomack where he spoke on his rise to fame, forthcoming debut album, and other facts about him.
Here are the few things we were able to learn from Bad Boy Timz‘s interview;
He revealed that the name and the hook of Olamide’s Loading were birthed from his laptop glitching causing it to load. When Olamide reached out to him, he decided to use the lines on the beat.
His father was a Tungba musician and Timz would escort him to events where he was in charge of picking up the money being sprayed on him. His father who was also an accountant insisted that he finishes school, though his parents supported him when they found out about his love for music.
His song, ‘Have Fun‘ was inspired by a reunion with an old friend during his happiest moments. When he got to the studio and heard the beat to the song, he did a ‘one-take freestyle’
Then he also revealed that he had an album on the way. The album which would serve as his debut project is titled, “Birth of a King“. He said he named it that way because he believes he is the new wave.
