DMW Boss, Davido recently gave trolls something to talk about as he spent millions of naira on a jewelry piece modeled after a derogatory term that has often been used to describe him.
After many years of being mocked over his voice, Davido finally commissioned a frog-styled diamond-encrusted pendant to add to his collection of super expensive jewelry.
Recall that since his emergence in the music industry, the singer’s voice has often been trolled with many likening him to a frog.
In 2017, Wizkid shared a controversial post on Twitter and many fans could not help but notice that it was an indirect jab at Davido.
“My people, make una remember say yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice.”

The tweet was accompanied by several frog emoticons. Well, after years of downplaying the frog-like comparison, it appears the FEM crooner is in the mood to set tongues wagging again.
The new pendant features a frog head donned with a face cap and cigarette in the mouth.
