Legendary singer Cohbams Asuquo pens down a birthday message for himself on social media as he clocks 40.
Born on January 6th 1981, singer Cohbams Asuquo takes to Twitter to compose a message of appreciation for his new age.
He tweeted;
“Today, I turn 40! I feel very fortunate and blessed. I don’t have much to regret. All my life, I’ve been counted among the lucky few. I’ve learned that I don’t need to apologize for God’s favor in my life; so I embrace my new age and all the blessings that follow. God has already given me an early gift so if you wish to send gifts, please reconsider and send money instead. Pls DM for my account number! Otherwise, your best wishes will do. Well meaning fans have also taken to their handles to celebrate the living music legend.
Blind from birth and born to humble beginnings, Cobhams grew up in military cantonments in Jos and Lagos, Nigeria by virtue of his Father’s profession as a soldier in the Nigerian Army.
However, he started gaining prominence in 2007, haven featured in “Mo like Jesu gan” a gospel act by Dekunle Fuji.
In 2008 likewise, he produced and dropped a verse on “Lagimo” which finally paved the broad way to fame for him.
Fast forward to 2021, the singer had already built a booming career in the music industry with various awards and recognitions, both internationally and locally.
