    Burna Boy in an interview with Sky News described the protest as the “most important moment in Nigeria’s history.”

    He said that Nigerian Youths with no Leader, no politics came together” and decided “enough is enough” to protest against police brutality in Nigeria.

    When asked if he was surprised by what the Youths did as he has been critical of Nigerians even telling them at one point that they deserve the leaders they get.

    Burna said;

    I Mean, I take those words back. They made me eat those words. Now they made me see something that was only possible in my wildest dream a reality. I never thought something like this could ever happen. Not in my lifetime, not when I’m dead

    I feel so blessed and privileged to witness this day and this age, this liberation generation and to be part of it. I feel like it’s the biggest achievement and thing I have ever seen in my life.”
