Nigerian Artist, Burna Boy has finally broken his silence on the #EndSars situation.
Burna Boy via his Twitter account on the 10th of October dropped a press statement about his thoughts on the #EndSars situation.
The singer said that the reason why he took long to speak on the situation was that he was gathering his thoughts on the situation.
He said he refused to respond to the derogatory tweets made about him as the issue wasn’t about him but a Nigeria problem.
He said a sub-fund “Project Protect” has been created under his charity organization, “Reach” to help protesters who were wrongfully arrested by Sars during and after the protest
He also said that the foundation would also help in changing the narrative of profiling which he notes is a major factor in this issue.
Recall that Nigerians dragged the African Giant for keeping silent on the #Endsars protest.
