Naira Marley in a tweet said that people should stop waiting on celebrities to lead in a protest as they can go on their own.

According to him, celebrities and ordinary Nigerians all have the same rights and anybody can be a leader.

“You don’t need a celebrity to lead a protest before you protest. You have the same rights as them. We are all Nigerians, You can be a leader today. Take ur dad, mum, brothers and sisters out there and protest if u believe that’s the answer.”

He also advised that Nigerians should stop dragging Burna Boy for not joining any protest. He also defended Nollywood Actress, Toyin Abraham after she was slammed by Nigerians for advertising her movie which people said was wrong timing.

“LEAVE BURNA BOY AND TOYIN ABRAHAM…. LEAVE WHO NO PROTEST.. IT’S A FREE WORLD LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT HAHA.. STAY FOCUS… LET’S DRAG THE GOVERNMENT.”
